Empowering Registered Nurses for a successful CVICU experience!

Cheryl Palmer is a Registered Nurse who started her career in healthcare as a Licensed Practical Nurse and attended Washington Adventist University where she completed her BSN.

Cheryl  has spent over 20 years working with the critically ill adult population, the last 15 years caring for patients  in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit and  Cardio-Vascular/Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care Unit, at the largest and busiest hospital in Washington DC, MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

She simultaneously held positions in long term care. Her core experiences included Director of Quality Improvement, Infection Control Nurse,  Nursing Director, Critical Care Nursing,  Nurse Manager Nurse Educator - Training and development, and BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA Instructor.

Her passion is always to teach and share information in an easy to understand format, to empower nurses and give them the tools to provide quality care for their patients.

In addition to continuing her acute care career, Cheryl’s 2 year goals include branching into lifestyle products to help not only nurses but the everyday woman.
